Base Metal

Raw Material, the term base metal is a generally accepted term for any number of metals that do not contain any precious metal. Base metals can be any combination of brass, tin, or copper.

Cubic Zirconia
Diamond simulant with great refractive index which gives it a distinctive sparkle.  Also known as a CZ.
Ear Wire, French
Jewelry Findings, curved wire for pierced ear, used as a base for an earring.
Ear Wire, Leverback
Jewelry Findings, hinged earwire for pierced ear that doesn't need an ear nut. The hinged portion closes onto the wire that pierces the ear and keeps the earwire securely in the ear.
Extension Chain
Jewelry Findings, usually a 2” piece of chain with a clasp, tag, or charm at one end.
French Ear Wire
Jewelry Findings, curved wire for pierced ear, used as a base for an earring.
Gold-Filled
Raw Material, a base metal that contains a layer of gold (usually 12 or 14 Karat) that is equal to 1/20'th of the weight of the base metal. This layer is electronically bonded to the surface of the base metal and is much thicker than plating.
Leverback Earwire

Lobster Claw Clasps
